Xo-Love Project
The Xo-Love Project is a humanitarian effort that takes some of our wonderful associates into a world they may never experience otherwise. As part of our goal of reducing our global footprint and giving back in some way, we have created the Xo-Love Project.
In November of 2008, a number of associates set out into the Mexican jungle, roughly 2 1/2 hours from Cancun, to visit a village of 12 families (around 65 people). On the first day they took out painting supplies, and laid out blankets on the dirt floor and painted with the children of the village. All these beautiful paintings were put up for auction at the Xoçai™ "Learn to Earn" event in Las Vegas on January 2nd - 5th, 2009 to raise money for the village.
The next day, donations from some generous supporters were distributed to the village which included clothes, shoes, blankets, personal hygiene items, toys, and more! Each family also received an extensive food package.
On the last day the village threw a grand fiesta and the ladies of the village cooked for everyone. Children demonstrated their climbing ability by making their way down a 30 ft drop off from a tree into a cenote which they regularly swim in. While they scaled the slope like little monkeys, one right after another, our associates brought a rope in case they couldn't make their way up again!
The Xo-Love Project is fun, exciting, heart-warming and life-changing. We are proud to sponsor and be a part of this wonderful project.
