As a child, I had the fortune of experiencing how cacao was planted, harvested and placed to market. I was born in Ecuador, South America. My family had acres upon acres of land and I had fun watching how cacao was picked from the tree, laid to dry on large concrete platforms and exposed to sunlight until the bean reached a golden aromatic state, that I remember so well. It was then ready to be burlap-sacked and weighed to be exported to the US and European markets. Unbeknownst to me I've come full circle. Now I find myself sharing raw cacao in a form of a unique Healthy Chocolate product with a proprietary formula that allows cacao to retain all its phytonutrients. Unlike "chocolate candy," which has been roasted and dutched, destroying 75% of its phytonutrients in the process and turning the cacao into "candy" full of preservatives, saturated fats and fillers which has unfortunately contributed to the obesity crisis our country is presently experiencing.

I have been involved in the architectural and design industry all my adult life. As a young designer, I had the privilege to work alongside many well respected architects and designers in southern California, and later opened my own design practice.

Today I'm having the time of my life being an Independent Distributor for Xocai Healthy Chocolate. My health is a priority and I love participating in providing wellness to people. Xocai has opened a new awareness in me that is life changing because I have been given an opportunity to share something beneficial for everyone's health and to show how anyone, with the desire to acquire additional income, can be successful. During these trying economic times, receiving a residual income for the rest of one's life, is a "more than desirable" proposition.
