The Facts:
The food with the highest antioxidant value on the planet is the cocoa bean. It is one of the most complex food substances on earth containing over 300 chemically identifiable compounds. These beans are packed with potent antioxidants called flavonoids. These compounds boost good HDL cholesterol levels, reduce blood pressure and reduce bad cholesterol.
The Misconception:
Just because a dark chocolate bar states 70% cocoa on the label does not mean it is rich in flavonoids. Most have been destroyed during the processing. Chocolate is heat processed which destroys the flavonoids.
The Breakthrough:
A Manufacturer in Belgium patented a cold pressed technology that protects the flavonoids and other phytonutrients, producing the most nutritionally potent raw unprocessed cocoa powder available.

The Company:
MXI Corp launched their chocolate product, Xocai, in June 2005. MXI buys its cocoa beans from family farms on the Ivory Coast where the rugged terrain creates a bean rich in flavonoids and phytonutrients. During the processing almost all of the fat and sugar typically found in the other chocolate products, is eliminated.
